"Women Literacy"
Till date AID-Prayas, worked upon several fields of a society like teaching kids making the kids aware of their personal health and personal development of the kids, health campaigns, cleanliness campaign, family planning sessions and many more initiatives. Though we have come through a long tough wayand seen drastic changes, yet few things are still pulling the legs of our achievement. A kid's first school is its home. Hence when we are trying to educate the kids, but at a point of time their parents do not understand the importance and values. There arises questions like:
What n how can be that done?
How to motivate those parents?
When we go for family planning sessions we find women in the community dont have a self confident and knowledge on any social awareness, so how to make the aware?
Few teenage girls cannot go to school because of social boundaries, few women can't go any where outside to learn the letters of literacy atleast.
For all such ?? Qs a ray of hope became the term"Adult Literacy" and the first step to for this is the "Women Literacy".

A register was prepared to get their name enrolled with their age. Laughy laughy environment was there. Kids went their home and pulled their mother and sisters sitting home too. Aslo discussed on the name to be given for this batch. A lady said "Meri Pehchaan". NOt bad!!!
Day2: Attendance was 99%, great to see this. Started with the profiling of the new batch. Profiling here meant their husband/father's name and their area of interest and hobbies. Then the first lesson of Women literacy, their Signature was taught. Within 1 hr all was set all had learnt sign.
